Our Story
Syntaris Power Corporation is dedicated to creating and delivering safe, clean, renewable energy. We understand that traditional sources of energy such as oil, coal and natural gas will not meet our province’s growing energy requirements in the long term. That is why we are committed to developing sustainable energy projects that serves the people of British Columbia.
We strive to carefully select hydroelectric projects that we believe can be designed to create a healthy co-existence between power generation and the natural habitat. We plan to harness the power of nature, using gravity created by steep streams to collect moving water in pipes or pen stocks. The water is then directed into a power house where it runs a turbine, creating electricity which may be used by BC Hydro.
Syntaris strives to mitigate any potential environmental, social and economic impacts by working collaboratively with First Nations, government, and local communities throughout the development phases of our sustainable energy projects. We’re building on the wisdom of past generations to create a legacy of safe, clean, renewable power for future generations.
